About BBA
The BBA programme aims at developing the student’s intellectual ability personality and managerial skills through an appropriate blend of business and general education. This programme equips students in understanding and developing unique leadership qualities which are essentially required for successfully managing business functions, an organizational unit or an enterprise. The specific objectives of the programme are:
- To mould up-to-date, assertive and effective executives for business and other organizations
- Prepare students for higher studies in business at home and abroad.
Programme Structure
The BBA programme consist of three inter related levels in different years of study.
The courses in first two semester’s broaden the general educational base of the student as well as acquaint him/her with basic knowledge needed in any business organization.
The courses in third and fourth semester acquaint the students with analytical tools and environment.
The subjects included are Organisational behavioral, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Business Environment, Marketing, HRM etc along with a project on Organisational Study.
The fifth and sixth semesters provide for an in depth study of the functions of business in the context of economic socio-cultural technological and global environment.
Included here are subjects on Production, Marketing, Finance, HRM, Taxation, Business Law etc. this final year integrates different areas of business through the study of strategic management as well as major or subject of specialization depending upon the students area of interest and options available and a four week industrial project on the subject of the students choice.

Eligibility for Admission:
A Candidate, who has passed the two year Pre- University course (10+2) securing a minimum 35% of marks of the Pre-University Board in the State of Karnataka consisting of at least two science subjects as optional of any other course considered as equivalent thereto by the University shall be eligible for admission to the Course
