About BBA

The BBA programme aims at developing the student’s intellectual ability personality and managerial skills through an appropriate blend of business and general education. This programme equips students in understanding and developing unique leadership qualities which are essentially required for successfully managing business functions, an organizational unit or an enterprise. The specific objectives of the programme are:

To mould up-to-date, assertive and effective executives for business and other organizations
Prepare students for higher studies in business at home and abroad.

Programme Structure

The BBA programme consist of three inter related levels in different years of study.
The courses in first two semester’s broaden the general educational base of the student as well as acquaint him/her with basic knowledge needed in any business organization.
The courses in third and fourth semester acquaint the students with analytical tools and environment.
The subjects included are Organisational behavioral, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Business Environment, Marketing, HRM etc along with a project on Organisational Study.
The fifth and sixth semesters provide for an in depth study of the functions of business in the context of economic socio-cultural technological and global environment.
Included here are subjects on Production, Marketing, Finance, HRM, Taxation, Business Law etc. this final year integrates different areas of business through the study of strategic management as well as major or subject of specialization depending upon the students area of interest and options available and a four week industrial project on the subject of the students choice.

Fresher’s Party

(ECSTACY- Entering a state of Intensity).

ECSTACY is the fresher’s party that is organized by BBA second year students for the fresher’s to welcome them to the institution.

Food Fest

(NUANCE)

NUANCE is a fest of taste organized to give the students an insight into business world.

Innoviatia

(In house management Fest)

This is an INNOVIATIA organized for the students to get an exposure in the management Fests.

Envisage

(National Level Management fest)

This is a National Level fest organized by department BBA for all the degree colleges from all over the country.

Sports

(Sangarsh in house Sports fest)

This activity is conducted for the students to compete and showcase their talents in the area of sports.

Farewell

Function for final year students

This is organized by the department of BBA for the outgoing final year students to wish them success for their future endeavors.

Activities

Orientation Program

(1 Week)

The program will be organized by BBA Final year students for the Fresher’s. This program is organized to break the ice within the fresher’s. A brief insight is given into the life at Jain BBA.

Independence Day Celebration

Independence Day celebration is organized by the fresher’s which gives the students a platform to showcase their management skills

Outbound training

This training is conducted by the department of BBA for the first year students as an induction wherein towards corporate culture. The students are taken to a nearby resort where in one day training activity is conducted.

Industrial Visit

Every year

Organized by the department of BBA for the students of 2^nd Year and 3^rd Year. Organized to allow the students to gain practical exposure about the layout requirements of the industry & daily operations of the factory. This allows the Students to gain an insight about the concepts theoretically explained in the classroom

Paradigm Shift

(Intercollegiate fest for PU students in and around Belagavi)

An Intercollegiate fest organized by department of BBA for the PUC students in & around Belagavi. This event is a platform for the BBA students to display their management skills by organizing the fest and is also a platform for PU Students to showcase their talents in Painting, Singing, Quiz, Photography, Dance, Fashion Show and Debate.

Picnic

This recreational activity is conducted by department of BBA for the students.

Workshops & Seminar

A session on Structural changes in Indian Economy was conducted for BBA & B.com students by S. Vishwanatha Bhatt
