The Jain College B.Com Program affiliated to Rani Channamma University, Belagavi builds the gap between class room based and contemporary project based education. Apart from regular studies students can take benefit of the various value added programs like CA-CPT coaching, foundation course by The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), Graduate Diploma in Business Entrepreneurship & Management by EDI, Ahmedabad etc. Learning takes place in the areas of Financial Accounting, Principles of Marketing, Small Enterprise Management, Computer Applications in Business, Business Communication, Secretarial Practice, Business Statistics, Managerial Economics, Business Environment, Taxation, Auditing, HRM etc. The course equips students to exhibit business understanding and competencies for the ever changing dynamic business environment and to come up with day-to-day solution which will not only increase their knowledge but also adds value to the business.

Events

Anukruti 2k19

Jain Bcom Department organized ANUKRUTI Event on 18th & 19th of September 2019 which was opened for 1st year and 2nd year BCOM students to participate. This event was specially designed for students to expose their talent on various areas and to build the cordial relation between the senior and juniors. ANUKRUTI consists of 10 sub events like Quiz, Mock press, Hand Painting, Singing, Debate, Rangoli, Dance, Flameless cooking, Nukad Natak, Photography. The Function was inaugurated by Prof. Ajinkya Damle (Prof @ Angadi College) and Prof. K .G Mallali Sir (Registrar JGI Belagavi). Event was briefed by Prof. Sangam Jadhav (HOD BCOM).

A two day national level Commerce fest organized by BCOM Students on 3rd & 4th March 2020.

Our students studying in B.com 2nd semester have won General Championship (GC) at the Bhartesh college fest 'Chanakya' .Securing first place in cultural event, second place in debate, second place in ice breaking and second in photography.

Workshop & seminar

Workshops on Finance and Accounts was held on 6 September 2019 for the students of B.COM and BBA which was organized by the department of commerce in Association with RCU Belgaum The resource person was Dr. Mahantesh Kuri from RCU Belgaum.

NO TOBACCO DAY

Jain College Youth Red Cross Wing Organised , NO TOBACCO DAY for the BBA ,BCA ,BCOM & PUC II year students was organised on 31st May 2019 with collaboration with Shaikh Homeopathic College ,Belagavi, to create and awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco.
